Hope your all having a rocking summer! We're are in the home stretch with regards to finishing our new memoir. Just a couple chapters stand between us and crawling into a bottle of Knob Creek for about a month.

I’d like to introduce you to this weeks Heth and Jeder. To find her, we must travel all the way to Staten island to her happening Mother’s Day bash that she so graciously had us rock. Christina is one cool person who has seen us playing in many places all over all over the city. We were happy to get the chance to party with her and her family. She went to great lengths to make our visit more than pleasant, and for that, we thank her. Ladies and Gents, Congratulations are in order for Christina, our heth and Jeder OF THE WEEEEEEEEK!

Breaking News: Heth and Jed Sign Book Deal

Aloha Hombres and Fancy Ladies. - Ok, we here @ Castle H&J are proud to announce the signing of our memoir, "Buskers: The on the Streets, In the Trains, Off the Grid Memoir of Two New York Street Musicians" (Spring 2011). The book will be released by SOFT SKULL PRESS who incidentally have the most futuristic balls in the publishing industry.

May we present you with our literary agent Andrea and editor Anne, the awesome peeps making our book a reality.



We caught up with them at the Belmont Bar over on 15th Street for a little signing party last night. The waitress kept bringing us beer after beer. NICE!

Heth and Jeder of the Week 1/08/10

Salutations once again Heth and Jederz of the World! Hope the New Year was killer to you all!  Welcome 2hethandjed10! ok, where was i? Earth. ok, this weeks Heth and Jeder comes to us from the fine state of NJ. Paramus to be exact, home of malls and the succulent Suburban Diner. Biker Bob and his ol' lady are Whores 4 H&J - need I say more? Bob runs the Sprint PCS store out on Route 17 and is very awesome to us whenever we need a phone. He filmed us playing a new song called To Burn In Your Love  over at Herald Square and has been a tried and true heth and Jeder for quite a number of  years now.

Another Heth and Jeder recorded some classic video of a particular jam session taking place at Union Square subway station on 12/31. Kudos to this masterful artist of cinema (Vertigo688), who had the good sense to stop and film history in the making. Check out the rock show here. Rad shit huh?

We had quite an eventful week  of busking the boroughs, during which several film crews followed us around. At times, we even did joint Q&A's like it was a friggin press conference or something. Thanks Victoria and Chris!

One high point, was an audience member who was so moved by the passion of our music he began urinating. Here is a photo of Heth bumming after the urinator struk! (we put down some newspapers like when you have a puppy!) The upside was this unique moment in time will surely fit nicely in our upcoming memoir. (shhh! We are about to announce who our publisher is!  stay tuned oh valiant Heth and Jederz!)




Here we have a photo of our snowy downtown excursion on the N train after an afternoon busking show in Queens. Smile! It's time to get the Glenfiddich on!



Oops! Nearly forgot to mention we had a sweet visit to our Grand Central show by our good friend bass goddess Greta Brinkman . Though a sick bass player she is not overcome by her lofty rock n' roll royalty. She's rocked the house with everyone from Moby, to Blondie! I tried to embarrass her at the show but to no avail. Heth and Jeder of the Week 12/20

Well, here it is, the last couple weeks of our Five year non-stop WORLD Tour of New York City. We’ve had nothing but unbelievable times this last year, and after the holidays we’ll be up and running again working on a new CD to singe your earholes and our memoir about rockin' the streets and subways. Thanx so much to all the Heth and Jederz for doing what you do best.

 This weeks Heth and Jeder of the Week comes to us from Queens, NY. Here’s a pic of our bud Tess hangin with us over at Roosevelt Ave. We always have a good time in Queens.


 Two days ago we spent 10 hours in a holding tank in the District 2 police station after being detained for trying to rock out at 34th St. But… the charges got dropped, and the shows will go on!!
